Pick UK HD

It would be the first time in history if they had!

For a channel that is supposed to be launching in 2 days, you think they'd be video testing Pick HD by now, but the channel has been at a black screen since it appeared. The Pick SD DOG is also badly placed, so let's hope they fix that for the HD channel at least.

Pick HD (the variant that will show the football) is currently testing showing the same as regular Pick in HD with no EPG data. "5829".

Isn’t 5199 meant to be showing the football ?

5829 is a blank screen for me, and has been since I tuned it in last week... Odd.

EDIT - I just checked and now it's actually broadcasting, but with a badly placed DOG.

The endboards feature a soft and blurry Pick logo but the programme information text beside it is quite sharp.

An advert for the football came on stating that the matches would not be available for viewers in Ireland.

The Pick dog has been badly placed for several years, god knows why sky dont move it? The previous PICK<TV> dog was far better.

If sister channel Challenge can get the dog right, no reason Pick cant!

Just noticed that 5828 (FTA, non-HD, non-football programming) is broadcasting a Sky Store promo loop.

Will it appear on Virgin?

All Sky channels were available to watch in HD on Virgin regardless of package at the start of lockdown, although they reverted back behind the tiered paywall about 3 weeks ago.
