I first spotted him in Spaced all those years ago, he's definitely a funny character and definitely about time he got his own show.

He voiced Darth Maul in Star Wars you know, yeh bet you didn't know that!! (Joke as he mentions it often enough Laughing )

There's a clip of him doing a Darf Vader impression on YouTube.

I thought the shopping channel sketch in which they said how rubbish everything was particularly hilarious.

Incidentally, if anyone's not seen his aforementioned Wogan impersonation, I can thoroughly recommend this nugget of YouTube gold.

I thought the show was pretty funny last night - particularly the cleaning gun and cleaning grenade. Very Happy

He was the creator of Look Around You, along with Robert Popper (who I think had a writing credit in last night's show).

It was good - I particularly like the bit when he was eyeing up the women in the bar:
"She's a 5... She's a 6... That's a man."

Vivienne Vyle was good too.

I was a bit dubious about the Thursdays Are Funny line-up but on the whole I was impressed with both Vivienne Vyle and Peter. Admittedly there were parts of both that weren't that funny but other sketches/scenes were great and hiliarious. Add Graham Norton next week and that's my Thursday night sorted!

Also it's worthy of mentioning the three specially themed idents as well.

Well he certainly does the best Simon Cowell impression. Laughing Quite a funny show actually. Great send-ups.

Meh. I'm more of a "Victoria Wood - As Seen On TV" kind of guy. Laughing

Seriously, this show is entertaining. Some of it does seem quite odd at times, though. Something which I'm finding hard to get used to is the lack of audience, but hey.. "its the 21st century". I guess having real audience laughter would seem old-fashioned. I'm just glad it doesn't use a bloody awful laugh track.
