Christa will be appearing from August. Not presenting Look North straight away but doing some recorded strands.
There will also be some minor set changes including a sofa area.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for the BBC?

Peter Levy is one of the most hardest working, funny, witty newscasters on British Television. He is a great man, and he's so funny when talking to Paul Hudson. It's more of comedy programme than news though, but hey, it makes news fun!
I like him!
Apart from that, I do like him though - I was over in Scarborough not long ago and woke up to him presenting Breakfast. i though he was very funny indeed - how he spends at least half of it doing sea high tide times and advertising BBC Radio Humberside!!
I have noticed something odd about him, just before they fade into the end afternoon titles, Peter Levy quickly wipes that smile of his face, has anyone noticed this, or is it me going loopy!!
Peter Levy isn't annoying, he's the most entertaining newsreader on TV.
When he presents the main Look North, the female co-presenter can't keep a straight face,
His banter with Paul Hudson is legandry!
(Viewers in West Yorkshire may like to tune into BBC Radio Leeds at 11.30-11.40am weekday mornings for some more banter with Peter Levy and Paul,....thats 92.4 FM and 774 AM - those are the frequencies!)
He is very loud, especially when he is in the self-opt studio, rushing against time to get everything done,
I have noticed he becomes all serious at the end, but that shows he's a professional and theres a time to be daft and a time to be serious

Ever since I got my rotating aerial this is what I've mainly used it for, watching Peter and Paul at Lunchtime.
BTW, Paul called Peter an ass today. Very funny, but you had to be there!
He actually woke me at 6.27 this morning because I left my TV on Belmont BBC ONE overnight. Then he woke me again at 6.57. So I decided to get up. Who needs an alarm clock?
