Also, in Peter's defence - when do think he is ever going to find time to spend with his wife and two very young children????? He has taken time out done his biography (won't preceed that with "auto" as he has had help in writing it!) and write scripts for a possible new series (which could be a number of shows ranging from The Peter Kay Thing to Max and Paddy or even a new show!).
So watch this space and I bet that within the next 6 months Peter will be back with new material, new "visible" projects and a new show. Remember he is currently rehearsing/starring in Mel Brook's The Producers!

Mine is that I know his wife (ever since secondary school!!!). Just to confirm that I do know his wife - she went to Thornleigh Salesian College and was in the same year as me as to which class I'll leave that for you but it is achoice of...Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Sigma, Theta, Omega or Kappa. I can also confirm that she is actually older than Peter. Also Peter went to Bolton Catholic SIxth Form Centre (funnily enough same address as Thornleigh!!!! - although I had just left when he started there. Also up until the birth of his first child his wife she did actually work for a cosmetics company (for the life of me I cannot remember which one at this moment in time) at the "Big" Boots store in Bolton town centre. I also know that Peter used to go to the Globe public house in Egerton, Bolton and used to use Su's chippy (the one I go to, aswell) on Belmont Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton. They also use a bakers and a butchers in Breightmet (near my parents house)in Bolton - and Peter used to go to (although I cannot confirm it today) David Lloyd gym in Bolton where I actually saw him on a few occasions when I went. So effectively no matter where I go or what I do I do actually come into contact with either his wife or other family friends so information is just that slightly more reliable.

In fact he is one of the nicest people you could ever mett (just like any northerner in fact!
) He will do anything for anyone and does a lot for cancer charities (for example he dis at least 2 show at David Lloyd gym in Bolton for charity and never actually took any wage and instead gave it to the charity!). In many ways he is a normal person and the friendliness he shows not only on the box but will colleagues (suchas Dave S and Paddy M) is real. He has no bad bone in his body - well none which I know of. There again very rarely see him nowadays (as I live in Holland ) but keep in contact via mutual friends.
