By the way, is this the Gavin Scott who presented the ITN Morning News when I was 12? If so, it is really really really really really really really weird to be talking to you now! It was Sundays, as I vaguely recall, right? That was a world of wonder that I found when I crept out of bed - somehow without skipping a beat at 4:55am (!) - and heading down to switch on and eagerly await that pre-dawn animation over a mystery nondescript "somewhere" - I....T....N.... - the full theme without a voice-over - long theme closer - unedited CNN overnight - wow!! ITN, how I loved you back then - it's probably a good thing I left England right about then, just before things started to go south for it. Anyway, it's good to talk to you, Gavin! You and Zeinab and David Cass and particularly Brenda Rowe were a not insignificant part of my life at 12!

It would be interesting to hear the gallery talkback for this - particularly once they realised that the wrong name had been said..

I wonder too if they'll have recorded a cock-up-free ending for international syndication. (Do Living still show AuNTM?)

I'm awfully sorry, but I am not he. Nor am I the Gavin Scott who presented news on TV-am or the sci-fi writer who also shares my name. I am a sometime actor and writer who holds a painfully dull day job. Some days I'd happily swap roles with one of my namesakes.

Yep - Living It shows it weekly, and the final is due in the next few weeks.

Ohh, I wonder who is going to win.

I wonder if all this publicity will gain more more viewers for the Living showing even though anyone interested in the show must now know who won. I suppose it depends if Living promote it as 'that episode' or just screen it without any extra publicity at all. Maybe Living could make a promo that shows the clip of the winner being announced, or is that just asking for trouble?
