My favourite bit though had to be where all mentions in the last 5 minutes were programmes in the last 2 years. Showing just how ITV still does what it always did. Riiiiiiiight.
Surely the point was to show how the hit genres and presenters of today have roots back in the pioneering days of ITV - Ant & Dec and Bruce Forsyth. Michael Miles and Chris Tarrant New faces and Pop Idol etc

As much as I like Airline - are you really telling me that it spawned out of early ITV?
I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here - Oh yeah...Hughie Green came up with that one!
ITV has been awful for about 8 years now, unless they go back to their old style shows it may as well shut down.
Well spoken!
I can't remember in which thread it was in but someone said that we always ITV bashed on here as we were ident mad and that the British public actually liked the station.... not so according to the moans and groans coming from this page: Can ITV return from ratings slump?
I've just seen ITV's list of programmes for September. The week of the anniversary, they're going all out:
- Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon
- "Best Ever" An Audience With...
- ITV's 50 Best Ever TV Moments
- 50 Best Ever TV Ads
- 50 Years Of ITN
- 50 Years Of ITV Sport
- What Did ITV Ever Do For Me? (documentary on stars who got their first break on ITV)
- And even a NEW It'll Be Alright On The Night.
So everyone's going to know about it... not just anoraks like us!
sorry if its been asked before, but are the regions planing on anything? London mainly of course. Has anyone got a list of the dates each region began?
