I take it your not Ofcoms biggest fan.

Ofcom are a joke. You might as well have no regulator.

The real villians of the piece are Tony's cronies, who created them.

Any agency which bans the "Sl*a*g of all snacks" could do with a reshuffle...

Jowell's reportly not to keen on them either so, well you get the idea...

I also hope we get a balanced view. The BBC managed it last year with "Grumpy old Men" where they basically said that the BBC was nothing like it was. I wonder if ITV can admit they are sh*te compared to the old days.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Dead Ringers never hesitates to poke fun at the BBC (and other channels), but when have we seen 2DTV satirise its host channel? I rest my case.

Is this another ITV show that has been written off in people's minds before it has been on?

You'll all go into it thinking that it will be rubbish, try and find some minor problem with the show to back that view up and then come out of it saying it was rubbish, or if they were lucky, it might claw its way back up to just ok.

To be honest nobody knows what format the show will take, although the Digiguide description contains the words 'With contributions from... ... Charles Allen..." which I'm sure you'll all love.

Funny how the back of the factsheet credits the TVRoom website for the idents. Surely they could have at least asked the people on South Bank for the 1968 LWT ident Smile

I am quite looking forward to this programme and indeed the series.

Let's hope they don't dumb it down too much.

It was created by an act of Parliament

In case anyone's forgotten, it's on ITV1 at the moment. I'm surprised SMG are showing it! Wink

They've mentioned regions. They also asked the question "Has it gone downhill?"

I think it might be quite good.

It looks promising so far, some good clips as well. The interviews seem interesting aswell.

Well since Melvyn has written it himself, i can imagine it being good.
