Well quite the saddest question I've found myself asking for a while -- but what is that meant to be over the HTV West area ?

Anglia looks too big and Central and Meridian look too small on that picture. And where is Tyne Tees?

No one has mentioned about Thames shoved in the far right hand corner of the map and anyone notice the very small area held by Carlton. It's a poor job shading different areas with the different idents. LWT looks the most straight looking out of all them.

So ITV finally admit that they have "not got time" to do comedy, and that "reality TV" now fills the gap of the sitcom.

Nothing at all to do with the fact that Thames went tits up and the likes of Central, LWT & Yorkshire became so watered down that there were no decent production companies left to produce a decent comedy or indeed entertainment show. What a load of nonsense the last half of tonight's show was. Evil or Very Mad

It's the form-up of the original 1968 Harlech ident.

I agree. Saying that the sitcom is dead can't be further from the truth. Hardware and Shane are very good sitcoms and they are on ITV! It's mainly the BBC who do great sitcoms though recently. The Office and Coupling to name two.

Hardware and Shane are very good sitcoms but very cheap. I didn't like Shane however as I prefer Frank Skinner as himself.

It looks like the TV-AM egg cups to me?

And missing off Tyne Tees, that's surely a big cockup, or just to wind up Adam?

I assure you that I will not be buying that publication. Laughing

I can't believe they did an entire programme about comedy without mentioning Harry Hill once.

TV Burp, anyone?

Nah... it's not a "Granada" production.

All right Tyne Tees was never one of the big 4 does it really need to be airbrushed out of ITV history. Surely they can't go to print with that cover? It's like the "People's Channel" programme not one mention so far (even in the regional tv section), even Border got a mention

Watching a bit of last nights show, I was wondering if or when love my neighbour and mind your language were last repeated. If ITV got 18 million watching a show today it wouldnt matter how racist or un P.C it was they would keep it on.
