I was wondering why Breakfast at the weekend uses the .15 headlines music at the start of the bullitin when the opening vamp works far better coming off the countdown.
I think that the pre title vamp from Breakfast would work far better as the music and wondered why they don't use it.
I think it works well, as they are trying to keep it like N24, with a headline vamp, the pre-title vamp just wouldn't work for headlines - its ok for a greeting, but not for headlines, IMO.
Although Breakfast at weekends is broadcast from the N24 studio, it is a Breakfast production and so keeps it's own identity by using it's own vamps/stabs/stings etc
Actually Breakfast at weekends is kind of a lazy breakfast as all they do is a half hour news 24 show then give u 2 mins of headlines, then a 15 min show, then the headlines, then another 15 mins when you're back at the top of the hour again.
Another question why do the monitors in the 'soft' area have a BBC News (BBC One style) logo on them instead of the Breakfast logo??
And is the sport in the Sunday breakfast usually done from the N24 desk or the sport desk as it was today?
