Tonight at 6:15 she said 'Tonight on Look East' instead of 'Look North' - wonder if she wishes she was back in Norwich?! Just when I was beginning to like her she makes an inexcusable error!!

Is she now the head newsreader at Look East? Just they tend to mention her name rather than Stewart White?

And at the end of the programme, she said, knowingly, 'you have been watching Look North!'

I very much doubt it - Stewart White IS Look East. I think Susie and Stewart share equal billing - though only the person reading the headlines and promos gets the mention in the 1800 Clock announcement. I think they both do in the 1830 Balloon announcement when they are presenting.

Oh - Is that how they decide who gets mentioned.

Yes - In Norwich the headlines and coming up into the Six are both single headed.

It would look very odd if the clock announcement at 1800 read :

'And now on BBC One the News at Six O'Clock with Huw Edwards and Stewart White'

and then Huw and Susie popped up in the headline sequence!

All regions have singled headed announcements for the 6 don't they?

Generally Stewart White is the one who reads the headlines at 6.00 and 6.15 but sometimes its Susie.

BTW, whats happened to the usual team at Close Up?

Amanda Goodman, Fiona Mills and Johnathon Samuels have presented in quite a while now. Its been Etheley Pegram. (sp??) I know all of those also do reports for Close Up and the main Look East programme but I haven't seen them presenting the main programme lately. Also James Blatch did the 6.35 and 10.25 programmes the other day. I haven't seen him present it in ages.

Actually, Johnathon turned up on the main programme from Norwich a couple of weeks ago with Carol Bundock. That was one of the rare occasions when Stewart and Susie were absent.

I believe Etholle has done some Norwich breakfast bulletins, and before that was BBC Essex's breakfast presenter?

Etholle Pegrum is the current breakfast presenter on BBC Essex, and she has done bulletins for Look East as well
