PC Input

I recently bought a new Samsung 56" DLP television with a VGA input slot for a PC. I hooked my computer up to this tv with a normal VGA male to male cable and the tv displayed no picture. Do i need a special converter to get this to work?

You're new, so I think we'll let you off this once - this area of TVForum is strictly for discussion of general TV presentation and programming only - so questions like this should be in the Requests forum.

To answer your question, there may be a mode you have to switch your TV to for it to act as a PC monitor. Either that, or if you're using a laptop computer you need to switch on VGA output.

In either case, you need to read the manual.

(of course, you may have already done this - if so, I can't give you any more advice, I'm afraid!)
