Could Terry Wogan be about to replace Paul?

Well to be honest... they could get Richard Blackwood to present. It would make a change... not necessarily a good one though.

Richard Madeley wouldn't surprise me either.

I'd say that's a good guess, since he has been talking about a solo presenting career now the R&J chatshow has finished.

Richard Madeley would be awful. He's got worse with age

/personal opinion obviously.

No disrespect to Terry, but C4 need to be looking to the future, not to the past, should Paul be replaced. The same kind of goes for Richard Madeley, but it would be interesting to see him do a chat show format on his own - probably better weekly rather than daily though.

They do need something though to find the middle ground between Paul O'Grady and Richard and Judy - so a bit showbiz, but able to tackle other issues too.

They could try doing something different in the slot. If Terry's show was to be more like his original chatshow or Wogan Now and Then I think it would be refreshing, but if its just going to be another person having a go at the 5 O'Clock which Paul has really made his own then they'd be better off sticking with Come Dine With Me.

I can bear Madeley but a C4 show on his own at teatime wouldn't work, if anything he's probably got a future career in Radio where I hear he's quite good.

Suspect on the radio he is produced by other people. On the TV, latterly, he's effectively been an Exec Prod, so he can overrule the producers who are producing him and tell them what to do. Not always a good way of working...
