Red Dwarf wasn't on the box for over a decade, and that never stopped me from being littlesmegger

In relation to it not being live-you can notice it but does he not say at the end "live at five on four"?

I think they are pretty honest when it comes to that catchphrase. They only use it when refering to a live edition. Paul O'Grady says it at the end of Friday's (recorded) show when he is talking about Monday's show. Mind you, he has been doing the show for X years, so I'm sure they have made a mistake and said it on a recorded show too.
There is a very loud woman in the audience today. You can hear every word she is saying and she is even subtitled. I wonder if this is the same woman who was chucked out before the show the other day (Paul O'Grady claimed it was his mother). Lets see if she is still there after the break.

I'm surprised there was no mention by Channel 4 that tonight's show was pre-recorded.
I think they like to pretend it is live without actually saying it is (Paul O'Grady wishing Terry Wogan luck with 'tonight' for example). Most people who don't care about this kind of thing will only find out that Buster has died in their papers tomorrow anyway and assume that he died after todays show or not even think about it until Monday's show.
It's only a bloody dog anyway at the end of the day. Sheesh, anyone would think it was a cat that had died....

Welcome to TV Forum.
Did anyone hear Paul O'Grady swear on todays show? Me neither. I did hear him apologise for it though, so I rewound the show a bit and it turns out he let out a tiny barely audible ****.
I'm sure most people probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the apology.
Here is a video of it...

BTW, he said it again an hour later on Channel 4+1 and it was not subtitled.

Burping, swearing, dogs dying..
Channel 4 has gone to rack and ruin.. I'm getting onto Ofcom straightaway.
(I really hope Paul does a late night show again!)

If you go onto Youtube, search for the channel of "yanalumb"-- you'll find a lot of Lily Live clips there. In case you're wondering: Yana Lumb was the Coro character (Cilla Battersby-Brown's chipshop colleague) played by Jayne Tunnicliffe, who was Mary Unfaithful in Lily's shows.

Or Jayne Bickerton as she's now known.
It's a great channel, I've got some classic Lily clips I hope to upload more of soon.
