Well, Paul's hypocrisy when interviewing his guests is getting worse.

Well the show is still very popular with viewers, they like the familar faces on the show.

When you have a format which attracts a regular high audience for 5pm then you will keep familar faces and familar features.

Paul's contract is up at the end of next year, he has said he would be thinking of finishing the show next year. I wonder if Channel Four will persuade him to stay for a bit longer. They will have a massive gap in the 5pm slot if he goes.

I have just heard that UTV is to cease UTV Life, its 5.30pm evening show because of new cost cutting proposals.

Will this mean UTV will for the first time in 5 years have full ITV1 network programming?

It was because of their UTV Life that the original Paul O'Grady Show on ITV1 was not shown.

Congratulations to Paul on receiving your MBE from Prince Charles.

Who would have thought it that Paul would get one?

As Paul said himself... "you know this country's gone mad when people like me are getting honours!" Wink

Paul mentioned that he's in hospital with some kind of ulcer on his eye but also mentioned that he was 'getting him back at the weekend'. Nice to see Olga reappear though - as well as Elsie, one of his chickens...

Slight technical glitch just then, as the interview with Philip Glenister was ending. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t176/zukeylukey/Channel42008-10-27_173010.jpg
EDIT:
Not all of it - but here's what I managed to catch...

We've got a suspicion that someone forgot to adjust their circuit booking for GMT. Oops.

It took Channel 4 long enough to put their slide up, with the announcer apologising over the BT slide!

The fact that it fell off air exactly at 5.30, does suggest it is something to do with GMT/BST
