Why does Paul keep taking weeks off? Surley he is well now to continue the whole run?

Why do they record Thursdays and Fridays shows? I know he did the same while at ITV1. Is it just so Paul can get a long weekend?

Why? It such a cushy job. What does people think?

He's the star, so he's entitled to schedule the show to suit himself.

What possible difference does pre-recording the show make to you?

The show feels a bit out dated now. Same catchphrases, same old chat and same guests! A revamp is needed.

Every show, even the news gets a makeover now and again, why not Paul O'Grady Show?

Channel Four should also give Paul a late night slot, maybe at 10:00pm on Fridays, since he records the Thursday and Friday shows early in the week. It would give Paul a balance between light teatime chat, and good adult entertainment, espically when Friday night television is so dire at the moment?

Any Thoughts?

I think I've said this before, but he could do an excellent Lily Live style show on a Friday, filling the gap that Graham Norton has left (fnarr fnarr).

what exactly is the point of the Paul O'Grady Show without Paul

Channel 4 should take it off for a week and show some other programmes

I totally agree, its even more cringeable with guest hosts because everything is terribly scripted.

- Guest host sits waiting for something to happen..
- Joyce or somebody walks out pretends to do some cleaning..
- Guest host reads a sarcastic line from autocue..
- Competition time..

You seem to a very big fan of Paul, Andrew - indeed it seems you watch his show every single day with the sole objective to see what you can run on here and say about it. Surprising you arn't watching ITV's fabulous output at that hour? It's doing astonoundadly well in the ratings isn't it Laughing

Could you stop stalking me and try to make posts on your own. You seem to be having trouble with the concept of internet forums. It's well known that people tend to be motivated to post more when they've got a negative point rather than a postive one, have a look at all the other threads
