I imagine as with everything it came down to cost - when available the London Studios were simply cheaper!

The London Studios are quite costly, not sure how they compare to the BBC though. I'd rather the former myself not just because of cost but the location, building and overall atmosphere. Sadly going to the BBC feels like stepping back in time.

I doubt that is true, the London Studios are always in high demand and I would imagine that keeps costs quite high.

What a great show tonight. I thought so anyway.

It always seems to depend if the guests on are people Paul really likes. Tonight in the case of Parky, he was really funny throughout the show.

Maybe he was just having a good day though..good show all the same!

Paul finishes his series on Friday, does that mean Richard and Judy will be back on 7th January and Paul will round late March, as he did last year?

I am sad the series is over as I like Paul a bit better than Richard and Judy.

I wonder what will replace Richard and Judy in 2009 when they finish in September 2008? Surley Paul is not going to be on all of 2009?

They'll alternate Paul with Come Dine With Me or other repeats I reckon.

Come Dine with Me certainly deserves a regular slot - it's one of those programmes that's far better than it really should be, with alot of that down to the narrator.

I'd imagine though C4 will want to bed another chat show into the 5pm slot, especially with Paul indicating he himself would quit at the end of 2009.
