Channel 4's most popular programme of Monday was the Paul O'Grady Show at 5pm, drawing 2.4 million viewers and a 19% share.

Thanks for that: Just out of interest how did those ratings compare with other channels in 17:00 slot?

From DS

Channel 4 5pm The Paul O'Grady Show 2.4m (19%)
BBC1 5.35pm Neighbours 2.5m (17.9%)
ITV1 5pm Britain's Best Dish 1.3m (10.3%)
BBC2 5.15pm Identity 1.7m (12.4%)
Five 5.30pm News 600,000 (4.2%)

Obviously some of those listed were not on the full hour and as the number of people watching TV increases from about 10m to 15m during the hour, the shares can't be compared equally

Now that Paul O'Grady uses Studio Two in the London Studios Mondays to Wednesdays for his show does this mean that Graham Norton will be moving out of Studio Two for his show (The Graham Norton Show for BBC2)?

In the past series I think Graham used Studio Two for his show and recorded it on a Wednesday night at around 6:45pm for Thursday broadcast. I have seen on Lost in TV website that Paul's Wednesday show will continue to be live at five so does this mean that Graham will be moving to the larger Studio One of the London Studios?

Just wondering how it will work out as the London Studios seems to be very popular with production companies.

GN's usually in Studio 1 anyway. He occasionaly moves to 2 when 1 is full, which it may well be soon actually during the peak season. Really if it got too manic even 3 could be used for it - the set could definitely fit in there - the audience would just be a lot smaller.

TLS is really popular for so few studios - amazing how many shows come from there and how quickly it's all rigged! One time there was an ITV2 after show party in studio 2 on Tuesday night and then O'Grady back in there on the Wednesday (this was back in his ITV days)

The audience seems to be a hell of a lot bigger.

I have just watched The Graham Norton Show last night and they are in Studio One now. You can tell with that ever recognisable Studio One audience seating. The show does look far bigger now even Graham said it felt like addressing a rally. It looks a lot different from the smaller audience that they used to have in Studio Two back in April.

This means that Paul can use Studio Two now without any hassle.

The London Studios must be very popular as a hell of a lot of top shows are made there not just for ITV but also BBC, Channel Four and Sky. Does anyone know if they offer tours like BBC TV Centre?

Didn't the Pride of Britain Awards come from the Hilton Park Lane?

That's what it said on all the water bottles anyway. The wine, was Tesco Finest!
