Talking about rumours, There's an interview with Paul in next week's TV Times

In the interview he says that Sky never offered him millions to go to them, ITV never asked him to be the new Parky, and therefore he never turned it down

He said, for the figures the tabloid stories were talking, he'd stand naked in a shop window never mind host a chat show!

Not long until this returns now- I can't wait! Hopefully there will be some changes to the set and format to go with the new titles!

Nice new red theme to the set and titles! Smile Not the 'New' Paul O'Grady show anymore just The Paul O'Grady show.
Haven't got any caps but the website has the new red theme on it: http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/P/paulogrady/index.html

Is it just me or is the picture quality better from The London Studios than the BBC?

It doesn't look like there are any new features to replace the Organ game. They are just extending the usual features to fill the space

Paul's own way of making a statement.

Loved the show and loved the new opening titles too- they looked really glitzy! The show was also better without the competition reminders as there was more time at the start, it was funny when Paul was checking the set to see if anything was missing and when he was kicking off about the Organ game too! It's a shame they ran out of time at the end though, but overall a great start to the series!

The bit I've never liked is where some children randomly run on and woodenly read something from the autucue. From today's first show It looks like this will still feature a lot

At least they've stopped sending them abroad just to introduce the competition!

I like the PO'G Show. Seems a welcome bit of decent early evening light entertainment after a summer of R&J and Anthony Cotton.

Let's hope that at least ITV don't re-commission TACS. Confused

EDIT:
Just watching on C4+1 - did Liza Tarbuck run past make-up on the way on? Her hair is all over the place - looks like she fell asleep on the sofa in the Green Room Laughing

That's only true if you're watching it on C4+1.
