I watched an early clip of PO'G on ITV on "enbarssing moments!" (or something like that - he looked young, but the set looked so crap!

I've got a recording of the 2nd ever episode (from when ITV repeated it) and the set was so different back then. There was no dresser behind him at first. The set was more modern than chintzy like it was later. The opening announcement was also done by someone else for about the first week

Yes, Peter Dickson must have been caught up in Antarctica! Laughing

I remember when Peter Dickson was Dickie the exec and Mr Mad on Steve Wright In The Afternoon and his Nightride show on Radio 2 was magnificent!!

Ah those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end! Crying or Very sad

Is the New Paul O'Grady Show done now from TC6 at the BBC Television Centre? I think it is.

The studio there is much better and is far bigger than Studio2 at the London Studios, I think TC6 is 8,000 Sq Ft compaired to London Studios Studio 2 which is around 7,200 Sq Ft.

The show needs a brand new set to make it fresher along with a remix of the opening titles and music. The show also needs to change the organ game its just the same boring feature near the end of the show, have something different.

Any other ideas?

Yes the show now comes from TC6, occasionaly TC8.

However, they pretty much only use the space they did in TLS Studio 2 with the set being more or less the same size.

Has anyone heard any more about Paul O'Grady's possible move to Sky One? He was offered £16 million by Sky to move next year when his Channel Four contract expires and now I have heard from websites that he has said he would like £50 million!

Has nayone else heard any more about this? I think he is great on Channel Four and I don't want him to move again!

What does people think?

Last I heard,he looked like he was going to re-sign for Channel 4 but £16m to move to Sky is tempting to anyone but he would lose the majority of is viewers.Remember people have gone to Sky for the money and never been as popular since.Best bet for O'Grady is to stick with a terrestrial channel.

It would completely diminish his persona of being one of the public if he moved off to Sky.

Laughing POG will be running out of sit-in presenters for his show before too long.

Wasn't Bradley Walsh going to host a chatshow in that slot? I'm sure Anthony Cotton was also meant to be doing the same

Can't wait to see Vernon or Antony's chat show, may as well give them a go, how about getting them on the air though!

Hope it kicks ass with Paul O'Grady, it's such a stale and boring show, since it moved to Chnl 4.
