Not as much as Dame Edna did. Very pleasing it was to see Trinny and Susannah brought down to size for once.

And the concept for their new show just sounded absolutely terrible - T&S help sort out people's relationships based on what clothes they're wearing. Alan Partridge would have been embarrassed to have come up with that.

Steve Frost is Coronation Street's producer.

He was Emmerdale's until recently as well.

Paul and practically all chat show hosts fawn to their guests and make out they are the shows biggest fans regardless of who they are.

Parkinson always makes such a big deal of the fact he only invites guests who have "achieved something" or have a story to tell. And yet them two appeared. Perhaps it was his get back at the celebrity booker.

Presumably pressure from ITV bosses to promote their new high-cost assets somewhat annoyed Parkinson.

Both shows offering £10,000 daily, tit for tat, also sharon seems to have mellowed out somewhat since her show started, still think O'Gradys show is better though. Very Happy

I know, and Emmerdale IMHO was a lot better when he was their producer.

An interview with David Beckham could not save Sharon Osbourne's ITV1 chatshow from a ratings drubbing from the returning Paul O'Grady on Channel 4 yesterday.

O'Grady returned with his Channel 4 chatshow, slightly later than scheduled following his second heart attack in June, and yesterday pulled in 2.5 million viewers and a 21% audience share between 5pm and 6pm, according to unofficial overnights.

On ITV1 at the same time, The Sharon Osbourne Show was watched by 1.2 million viewers and attracted a 10% share.

In its final week on air during in June, The New Paul O'Grady Show averaged around 2 million viewers and a 17% share, up against live coverage of World Cup group stage matches on BBC1 and ITV1.

Also at teatime yesterday, BBC1's Neighbours won 2.6 million viewers and a 20% share; while on BBC2 The Weakest Link drew 2.3 million and 18%.

There is something about paul . . ., I think it is just simply that he has the 'x factor' about him Laughing! Something I thought, before I noticed the link (though I presume that phrase was drummed into me, because of the programme.).
