Paul O'Grady's last series plugged BBC programes, and other channels. And he still had ITV stars on the show. All shows like that are the same, pluging their own channel. Although when Paul was on ITV he thankfully used to say most of the programmes coming up later were awful.
I don't think Paul over plugged C4 shows at all last time round - perhaps there were a few people on it who wouldn't have been otherwise, but certainly not an excessive amount.
And despite his situation with ITV, he still had guests from ITV shows - just ITV wouldn't let them show clips IIRC. I wonder if that'll continue now?
Fair play to Paul for speaking on Steve Frost's unprofessional manner. To think he compared this storyline to Frankie and Jamie.
Paul slated Steve Frost for his comments on the Down syndrome storyline, stating that after he had worked in social services for 20 years, Honey's reaction was 'spot on', when compared to cases where families discovered their baby had downs syndrome.

About time you realised how crap EastEnders is too!
Paul's comments were interesting - it be a good 15-20 years at least since he worked in Social services. It shows how out of touch EastEnders is in it's 80's time warp!
Anyhow, back on topic and I wonder if Buster will get more get well cards than Paul! It wouldn't surprise me.

Did this happen on the show or in a newspaper? And who is Steve Frost?

Steve Frost is Coronation Street's producer, and really good he is as well. Since he took over Corrie has been excellent, far better than it was last year.
Paul and practically all chat show hosts fawn to their guests and make out they are the shows biggest fans regardless of who they are.
Unless you are Parky, who almost rubbished Trinny & Susannah on Saturday.
Parkinson always makes such a big deal of the fact he only invites guests who have "achieved something" or have a story to tell. And yet them two appeared. Perhaps it was his get back at the celebrity booker.
