That is utterly repulsive and quite frankly, downright disgusting. How anyone can eat a fish finger butty is beyond me.
As for the language, I don't watch Paul O'Grady a lot these days, but when I do there is usually always someone on there letting out a little swear word. I remember Carol Vorderman once saying "sod you too" followed by a little apology after the competition reminder. There have been a few arses too which I think is more accepted now.
It feels like this is happening more and more on TV these days. I'm not offended by the language provided you're not overusing it (in fact, sometimes I don't notice it until the apology is made), but I can understand to a certain extent why someone would be offended. I respect that some people want to protect their children from that, but as an adult you should be able to take it.
Talking of Paul O'Grady, he knew of the award he won last night on today's "recorded" show. Was this a one-off live Thursday edition so that Paul could announce this, or had he been tipped off by ITV already for the recording of Tuesday afternoons (tonights) show?
no as far as I understand 3 out of the five days are live the other two are recorded at around 12.30 and air the same day at 5pm, in which case he would obviously know.

I think it might have been done Live or certainately recorded today as he mentioned that Catherine Tate should have won and that also he was showing off Johnny Rotten's tooth.
Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday's are live, and the Thursday's and Friday's are recorded at 12.30 on the Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Therefore tonights show, where he apparently already knew about his award, was recorded on Tuesday, a whole day and a half before the comedy awards show!

The thing is, I don't think it was live, as the announcer at the top of the show simply said "Ladies and Gentlemen, Paul O'Grady!", where on the live shows he would say "Live, from London, it's Paul O'Grady!" - so I'm sure it was recorded. Which leads me to believe that perhaps alternative sections were filmed, where he either celebrated or comiserated?!
