Went to the pilot tonight. Think of it as the C4 show with a bit more risque material from Paul and a larger set.

No nodding Olga's though. Once they've tweaked it a bit, I can't see it not performing well in the 9pm slot.

Is the set good in your opinion - similar but bigger than the C4 set?

Also on your last bit - It will most defintely flop - well I believe the first episode is on the same night as the "Eastenders Peggy exit" which is 40 minutes long plus a 20 minute "Peggy special" , clashing with Corrie, which will therefore have a poorer rating and therefore give a poorer lead in to Paul's show.

If that wasn't bad enough at 9pm on BBC1 your've got a new series of New tricks starting ( which has ratings of 8m + ).

Then if that wasn't bad enough again, you have the last ever Big Brother show which based on last night Final rating around 4/5m will dent Paul's show!!

So for the 1st episode it will most definitely flop and that doesn't bode well fro the remainder of the show up against New Tricks! Laughing

Aye, it's a shame, hopefully the show will hold up with good enough ratings

Will look bigger on screen. Moving the show from Studio 2 to Studio 1 means a larger audience for a start...

Not strictly Paul O'Grady related but The 5 O'Clock show has been axed apparently

You can however see the making of the promo. Incidentally does this go out on STV given that they sing the words "ITV" at the end. Is there an STV / UTV version ?

Its not a problem, STV and UTV are still part of ITV. It's not like they sing ITV1. In fact, do they even mention ITV? I've only seen the promo once and I seem to remember it ends with the words "in HD".

Yeh, see your point given that STV still get ITV News / Sport / Weather etc. - just wondered if there was another version. Oh and watching the promo on the site it definitely sounds like 'ITV' to me at the end.

I just watched it online too. From what I remember, I think the one on TV is different as it ends with the guy mentioning HD. The online version also shows itv.com on the laptop screen which may be a bigger problem for UTV/STV although I am sure the programme itself will mention that site too.
