I have to say this is one of the better show, and proves what this show could be!

and it was a very good interview of her

Agree. It was a great show and Angela was a great guest. After seeing that 'electronic organ' game (or whatever the hell it was called) at the end of the programme, I wonder when - or rather if - the 'Organ Game' will be brought back. (Though I doubt it'll be back anytime soon.) Some of the things they try to fill the former organ game slot with seem tedious and make them look like they've run out of ideas, as many others on here have said in the past.

Why was Wednesday's episode of Paul O'Grady Show a pre-recorded one? Usually Paul does live 5pm shows Mons-Weds and records Thurs and Fris on Tues and Weds at 1pm.

I noticed this because the announcer didn't say "live from London" at the start which usually signals it is a pre-record show. How does the show manage that now for the rest of the week, Surley all the other shows will not be pre-recorded? He has only done 2 live shows so far this week.

I guess he will pre-record the Bank Holiday Monday show too. Does anything these days really come live to us anymore?

Yeah I thought it was pre-recorded as well as the Nancys were dancing on the clip before the ad-break, which couldn't have been done if it were live.

Friday is supposed to be the 500th show. Presumably this includes episodes shown on ITV?

I was trying to work this out. It must include his ITV shows, as he has done 4 full series of 65 episodes for channel 4, and is nearing the end of the 5th (is that right). And didn't he do 2 full 65 ep series for ITV, and the shorter 11 week or so run when the programme first began? So in total it does add up, obviously they would have checked it.

I wonder if they've got the rights of ITV to show some of the best bits from the era series?

I wonder if they're going to do the 500th live, or has it already been pre recorded. I must say that I did enjoy tonights programme a lot with the Indiana Jones theme, a very good show, a bit different to others, and I always love a good theme show, he does seem to pull them off very well.

Already recorded. I preferred the show on ITV.

I'm not sure what that was about at the end of the first part of tonights show. Paul said "Hang on Bert, what have you done with the autocue there, I've just said that bit", then he said "You've done all that for 'Don't go anywhere'!" He then walked off in a huff (jokingly obviously). I was trying to work out what Bert could have done with the autocue, but I'm not sure what.

What difference does it make whether it's on Ch. 4 or ITV?

Because the ITV version was much better, with items taking the mick out of Paul rather than completely random stuff which he always looks so embarrassed doing. It started good on C4 but has been going downhill fast for the past year imo.

Funny how they have the tapes of early shows but still can't show it because ITV PLC won't let them. I bet if they threw money at them they'd be lining up with tapes Rolling Eyes

What exactly is the point in Christopher Biggins?

(not just on this show, but generally!)
