Paul O grady

Unless I heard wrong, Lorraine is presenting tomorrow. Maybe guest hosts are doing the rest of this week?

Maybe it's a ploy to get Mel, the Richard and Judy gig.

I checked the Paul O'Grady website and Lorraine Kelly will be hosting tonight's show.

Since they record Thursdays and Fridays shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, does that mean Mel will be hosting tomorrows show and Lorraine again on Friday maybe?

It was strange to have Paul back on Monday and then sick again on Tuesday. This will probably cancel the mid-series break he usually gets since he has been off for 2 weeks now.

They could argue though he needs the mid-season break even more if he's been ill alot.

Acording to the Sun website Lorraine will present today, with Brian Conolly presenting on Thursday and Shane Richie presenting on Friday ( he was supposed to be guest anyway!)

So I take it they must have moved Guest presenter week forward.

As repetitive as it is in his absence the god awful Lorraine Kelly & Mel Sykes only highlight how much Paul carries the show.

But if I remember correctly Brian made the show his own the last time that he did it, and didn't Shane appear on one hosted by someone else but he was the one who was carrying the edition?

Totally agree. Paul is a comedian, they are merely just presenters doing their job.

It was evident yesterday when Joyce messed up the quiz. Paul would have spat out a witty jibe and got assertive with her but Mel just stood there and laughed.

They may as well stick Come Dine with Me on or something else when he's away but obviously it messes up scheduling too much.

In regards to his regular week off I think rather than doing two three-month series with him taking a week off in each they'd be better off doing three two-month series with Paul hosting throughout (if not ill).


When was it he began with C4, and when is his current contract due to end?

Was tonights show a repeat/pre-recorded because the Hoosiers were supposed to be on tonight, and the introduction to the show, before the opening titles, showed part of tonights show when chris tarrent was being 'attacked' by the giant squid on the sofa.

I have noticed that on some other days too
