The patheticness of ITV News

Aren't ITV News pathetic, banning Kirsty Young from presenting because of her forthcoming move back to 5 News? You may or may not have noticed that the ITV News Presenters section on the ITN website carries no mention of Kirsty, but it was obviously going to as there is a photo of the whole presenting team, including Kirsty! Also, I cunningly found this page which was not linked to by any other: http://itn.co.uk/company/tv/itv/presenters/itv_young.shtml

I'm a bit confused! It is ITV who have banned Kirsty Young, right? Not ITN, because C5 News and ITV News are both ITN.

Correct, and the fact that ITN provides news for both makes it all the more unbelievable. It's like two departments of one company falling out because someone's moved from one to the other. In fact, thinking about it, that's exactly what it is.

Well I have to agree Phil - what they have done is pretty pointless, and it's achieved nothing. Kirsty's a great presenter.
