The middle of coranation Street and your hitting the biggest audience you can with it, and Newsnight is where you would get the more 'educated' viewer would is actully interested in politics.

Why do you assume that "educated" people don't watch Coronation Street? I happen to watch both programmes, and I consider myself "educated".

Your rather simplistic sweeping statement doesn't surprise me though, after reading some of your other posts.

Labour's was dire... haven't seen the Tory one yet. Perhaps we should have another thread to guage support for each party?

Now thats not what I said your putting words in my mouth. I was meaning that you would get maxium audience via those 2 shows you would'nt need to show anymore than twice than. I did'nt mean that 'educated' people would'nt enjoy Coranation Street did I!!!! I never said anything about them not seeing it twice in that respect.

Anyway the lib-dems one again constructive and better than Labours talking about themselves and not mentioning other parties but still not saying an awful lot about what they stand for on a local level.

Thank you for clarifying your position. I don't see what is wrong with showing the broadcasts on all channels - you really don't have to tune into them all you know...

As for all the party political comments that people are trying to raise in this thread, please can that talk be left to the "Lounge"? This is a TV Forum and if people want to talk politics then do it elsewhere, please.
