Party Election Broadcasts: Do they affect your vote?

Is there any chance we could set up a poll to see who people will be voting for?
I'd be really interested to see the statistics.

Don't forget - it would of course be anonymous, as you can't see WHO has voted in the various categories (at least I don't think) - and besides, the majority of users here are only known by their usernames.

Thanks for alerting me to that. I'm not registered for that site and can't be bothered to do so (only interested in discussing TV), but it's a fascinating result. Tories currently standing at almost DOUBLE that of Labour - and just about the same as both Labour and the Lib Dems combined.
Well now i've seen that, i'm not afraid to admit that my Tory vote is already signed, sealed and delivered! (Being a 21-year old student, it's not often you can be vocal about that)

As for the main point of this thread - NO, I don't think Party Political Broadcasts have any impact whatsoever.

Anyone who has a vendetta against someone else that strongly should not be in line to be a Mod.

I really wish you hadn't, I think politics should be kept out of a TV presentation forum - leave it to Metropol and if really necessary the News section.

No...What on Earth gave you that idea? I just said that because these days, in some circles, you can't admit your support for the Tories without being slightly frowned upon. Trust me - at my University, a lot of the students have been brainwashed into thinking the definition of 'Conservative' is Margaret Thatcher.
