I hope in his last few shows we get to see some of his faviroute interviwees return, with the last show being given a propper send off to the series, hopefully they will persuade the BBC contribute some of their footage, it would be a good send off to the show.

What a shame. I wonder what ITV will replace his show with?

Will there be a phone-in game where you can find the pieces to construct the pole with which the presenters will, at the end, poke Vernon Kay in the eye?

Has he really said he's fully retiring? Or are Digital Spy getting carried away again? He said he'll still do other projects and I'd assume the radio show will continue too.

Well he's got his pub in Berkshire too, which I'm sure he'll be concentrating on.

Vernon Kay wouldn't be too bad, he was good at interviewing people when he sat in for POG. He hasn't the journalistic pedigree or gravitas of Parky though.

Unless of course Judy Finnegan decides to retire, then we could have Madeley on ITV again Very Happy Maybe Moira Stewart could have Parky's role, a journo with personality.

Or perhaps a certain well-respected BBC regional presenter with an army of blue-rinsed admirers, impeccable interviewing technique and Z-list showbiz connections, could do the role.. Twisted Evil
