If Paramount 2 were to occur, I would like to think that they may actually acquire some new movies to show. They seem to be recycling the same handful of films on an all too regular basis.... Paramount De Ja Vu Channel!!
I see plans to launch Paramount 2 have been unveiled, it will not be a timeshifted channel, rather a timeshuffle a bit like Sky One Mix. It will operate between the hours of 4pm - 2am and launch on Sky Digital on 1st September, rolling out to cable later.

Dang, I was hoping "Para 2" would be showing different shows to "Para 1".
The sooner they get SNL on UK screens the better!!!

I assume you mean Saturday Night Live. Paramount had the rights to that in the mid 1990's, and those
rights have long since expired. It's highly unlikely Paramount will be showing SNL again, anytime soon.

But how hard would it be to secure the rights again???
They should stop paying money for CR@P like Sex in the City () and invest it in the better shows out their.
Whatever happened to Paramount showing shows like Everybody loves Reymond, The Garry Shandling Show, Larry Saunders, Nurses, Seinfeld, Who's line is it anyway, Mad about you, Duckman, Etc, Etc.

They need to fix things fast!!!
Thats one thing I don't like about Paramount at the moment is that there has been no Seinfeld for over 4 months now! I know there's a thing of a show where it takes a break for a month or two, which is fine as they let other shows take part in the schedule, but this is taking the piss IMO. I have to agree with Sex and the City, I can't stand it myself, but it should be left on Channel 4 and E4 not Paramount. To be honest it's nice when they show old comedies like Monty Python, as UK Gold doesn't bother, their films aren't too bad either, but showing the Carry On series is rather crap, it should be left on UK Gold or Sky Movies Cinema.
BTW Wasn't Duckman last seen on the now defunct Play UK?
