Could be or just about ad time - with ads once you take out the precaps and recaps etc they're about 2hr 5 min with ads, a max of 6 (maybe 7 for digital) internal breaks. Running as half hour eps you can get in 9 internal breaks.

Viacom has scheduled a 5 minute slot to show 'Welcome to Paramount Network' across Channel 5, 5USA, 5Star, 5Spike and 5Select on July 4th at 7.55pm but not on Comedy Central or MTV.

I expect it will be a block of ads for the various programmes that it will show.

It will now be launching Virgin Media too, channel 220. Freesat TBC.

216 is currently the last channel number in the main entertainment section on the Virgin EPG, with factual starting at 245, so not the best slot. They could have put it on 187, where it would be next to 5 USA +1 (185) and 5 Star +1 (186).

I think we might see 5Spike +1 added to 187, but then there would still be 188 as another option. There must be a reason.

187 is still quite far away however. They could have replaced the Local TV spot at 159, whilst Local TV could replace another spot, I would give it to 160, Real Lives' spot, and Real Lives would move to the new 217.

That wouldn't be possible. Virgin Media cannot just move channels around their EPG at whim. They have an EPG policy.

187 is indeed still far away but at least it would be next to other Channel 5 owned channels, which will cross-promote it.

I may have missed this, but on which multiplex on terrestrial is it launching?

No official confirmation yet, but I would assume it will take the slot previously occupied by ITV3 on COM4.

Channel 5 used to broadcast there, and effectively swapped places with ITV3 when all the "national" commercial PSBs moved onto their own multiplex.

Together TV is still currently at position 159 on the Sky EPG, the slot which Paramount Network is due to take when it launches tomorrow.

Together TV has got listings for the next 7 days on the Sky EPG, so I'm assuming it isn't closing, but they don't appear to have made any announcements about any changes to their EPG position.
