Not quite sure what looks worse, the 4 with or without the tape! Noone outside of this forum would notice anyway. Nice studio, its like Match of the Day meets The Apprentice: You're Hired but it's a shame that the BBC weren't made to vacate the studio inside Olympic Park. By rights, Channel 4 should have that if they're the official broadcaster.
On a completely unrelated side note, the cheek of David Cameron turning up and saying he hopes the Paralympics change the perception of disabledpeople.
Are we going to get a similar cauldron to the Olympics? In the past they could used the Olympic cauldron, however the petals all went to their NOCs after the Olympics finished.

I'm pretty sure I heard on BBC earlier that it is the same style petal cauldron, but will be lit differently.

Perhaps we are going to see something different? or they made two sets of petals?

That's a stupid statement. The studio was the property of the BBC and it didn't belong to anyone else. I hate to say it but there may have been accessiblilty issues with using them studios anyway.

I agree about Jon Snow, it's almost as if he's been forced to do it because he is Channel 4's chief newscaster and therefore has to do it. Imagine David Dimbleby hosting the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Channel 4 should have used a studio with a real view, you get third rate football matches done with real views, so the Paralympics surely should have one.
There were shipping container studios all over the Olympic Park, so presumably they weren't all arranged by the BBC.
