So Panorama randomly scheduled for Sunday at 6pm, seemingly even more random when revealed it's a two parter continuing at 9pm tomorrow.

Seems though it's scheduling isn't quite so random with a joint release with the Guardian and New York Times about the Paradise Papers as it went to air.

Yes, in the week we found out some politicians are sleazy it also turns out some rich people try to avoid paying tax.

Laughing Cool

A bit like "finding out" that the Pope is a Catholic or that bears defecate in the woods, isn't it?!

Tonight's Panorama has been cancelled, presumably for editorial reasons. A Question of Sport will be shown in its place.

Looking at some of the listings, it was supposed to be about a woman who escaped from so-called Islamic State with the help of her mother.

Date: Monday 5th February 2018 (starting in 31 minutes)
Time: 20:30 to 21:00 (30 minutes long)

My Return From IS
In the first ever interview with a British Muslim now back in UK after living with the so-called Islamic State, Panorama tells the extraordinary story of 'Fatima', who married a British Jihadi fighter and had a child with him in Syria. After more than two years with the terror group, she managed to escape with the help of her mother. She was arrested, and after extensive debriefing by counter-terrorist officers, the CPS decided there were no grounds for prosecution. She is one of around 350 British Muslims who have returned to the UK from IS. So far only 11 have been jailed. 'Fatima' tells reporter Peter Taylor, 'They've hijacked Islam. Men will be used like cannon fodder and women used for cooking, cleaning and giving birth. It's insanity.'.

They've brought forward Wednesday night's Question of Sport which isn't getting its usual Friday repeat this week; presumably they didn't want a clash with the Winter Olympics highlights.

I wish I hadn't checked those Twitter replies now. Rolling Eyes

Hopefully they may be able to re-edit it or use the footage recorded in other shows so it wasn't a complete waste of money.
