What's everyone's opinion on the content of Panorama being reported as part of the news on BBC News and Breakfast every Monday?

Is it justified as it is current affairs or just promoting a programme?

It's never justified. It's always an advert for the fact it always is. I don't see similar stories covered by Trevor on the other side being discussed, nor should we.

There's actually an outbreak of sanity on the usually asinine Have Your Say section. I seriously suggest anyone working on this programme be dismissed immediately. It has no value and in fact decreases public understanding of science. It is abhorrent that such poorly researched one-sided crap is produced under a public service broadcaster.

Tonight's programme was absolute tosh. Do they understand any science? .

No they don't because the production team are only educated in useless subjects such as media studies, or politics. None of them seem even to be at O Level (or whatever it's called these days) standard maths or physics.

Perhaps there needs to be a Panorama programme looking at the issue of poorly qualified TV journalists.
