Problems at BBC News - Again

At 10 on News24 there was confusion as there was no programme intro after the headlines. Now, Gavin Esler and Carrie Gracie are calling it 'BBC News' (as if it's overnight) - and we're getting 'BBC News' idents (not after :30) - and there was an anim at :25 for their opt-out.

I've finally got to see Lucy Hockings - the Australian News presenter. She presented BBC News 24 this morning! (She was actually presenting BBC World, but at 0930, News 24 joins BBC World.)

Beeb Programme Costs

I saw somewhere (can't rememeber where though), that the cheapest programme/production that the BBC produces is the weather at around �60 a time. Now we can try and put a good estimate on what weather presenters such as Michael Fish and Helen Willets get paid.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but.... The Weakest Link US will be shown on the BBC from next Friday. The Beeb have secured rights to show the whole series (28 editions I think) from NBC to be shown in an afternoon slot.

The current EPG background music on sky digital is great. Can anyone capture it in high quality and put it on this site? I think the tunes repeat every half hour but i would be really greatful if someone could as they will change again soon.

BBC World 'Coming Up' graphics

Has anyone seen the new 'Coming up' graphic on BBC World, if you haven't, what's happened is that they have moved the 'COMING UP' to the bottom on a plain orange background, now it looks absolutely awful!
