BBC News not in widescreen

Just watching the BBC News at midday and it is not being broadcast in widescreen. It does look quite strange - the astons don't fit in right and the picture behind George Alagiah look wrong! Still not put into widescreen two minutes in.

Fox News IS coming to Sky

After speaking with Fox anchor Shephard Smith this week he told me that Fox News was coming to Sky later in the year. He described BBC World as dull & went on to express similar sentiments about Sky News which suprised me.

BBC's studios at Millbank are being revamped from July 28, during the summer recess. They have been using the studios for 10 years & I understand that political staff will be moved to Bush House while the work is completed.

Ok, apart from H&A coming back, which I won't be watching anyway, what else is happening at 5 next week ? I understood that they were supposed to be rebranding the news ITN 5 News, they were taking the ITN News Channel at breakfast and will be having 2 half hour bulletins at 5.

I was watching a programme on BBC Two last nigth and they showed there dog in the top left hand corner of the screen. Is this a sign for the times to come? Will all BBC channels (I mean BBC1 & 2) have a DOG when BBC3 and BBC4 are launched?
