1989 generic ITV idents

Guess what's wrong with the discriptions from which is where the logos come from. Granada - not used but later regionally re-edited. Scottish - any ideas? UTV - used.

ITV relaunch tomorrow?

I think ITV1 and ITV2 may launch new idents tomorrow. The current ITV1 Saturday night line up trailer says that everything is new! (New stars, new show, new money, new kylie - Popstars In Their Eyes, Pop Idol, Millionaire, Audience with Kylie Minogue) Also iTV1's ITV2 trailers have a new logo on.

Sky News programmes

Does anyone know if Sky News have any plans to actually name their news programmes? Wasn't it ReLaunch Now who gave us a list of the Sky News schedule with things like the 'Scene at One?'

No titles on BBC World

Apologies if this has been mentioned already -- but having just watched the countdown at 1000 GMT, I was surprised to see that the news following it didn't have any titles -- just the headline bed and then the presenter saying welcome.

The Sky News Wall

Has anybody noticed that the presenter on the sky news wall has a microphone stuck to the side of their face? why? why not use the standard tie-clip based device? From a distances it often looks like the present has a huge scar!

This is confusing me a bit. � In Oxford, do the viewers of South Today have a pre-recorded bit with Sally and Roger before the local Oxford news, because I have just been watching a clip, and all the headlines at the beggining were Oxford related.

At 5.55pm, ITV1 went to the ITV News with Katie Durham On Yorkshire, John Shires was just about to start a roundup of the Division 3 Action (on Soccer Sunday), but he said we had to end the programme and join ITN.
