That's Matt Berry's "performing" voice he also uses on Absolute Radio. He rarely uses his normal voice unless it's in interviews but he often puts on his rich, deep voice either for comic effect (IT Crowd) or for merely sounding awesome.

Is it just me who thinks the Daybreak title music has a resemblance to the ITV News theme, like a really crap 'lifestyle' version?

I think they've got away with having Lenny present this - it doesn't seem odd in the slightest. Mainly because it's been introduced as a lively, glamourous and 'gravitas lite' awards do, they are having a bit of a laugh and leaving most of the really serious tone to Mister VT.

Well, there is a kind of sense to it, if you look at the Conference for example they have thirty live games a season but they're all on Premier Sports which nobody has, and hardly anyone is bothered with live games because they don't know any of the teams or players.
