A new name, channel and a slight refresh for Monte Carlo Game

This channel is currently paused on both Sky 864 and online, The game seems to be continuing though, with numbers being drawn, so it is likely to just be a problem with their automated video system.

Do old satellite dishes (from the 90s, etc.) still work?

Old Sky analogue LNBs were H/V switchable as well - but their frequency offsets were different ISTR, and they may have used different switching systems.

Remember that idea of having a network of Local TV station?

I still worry about this local TV stuff. I think we've always needed network TV not local TV, like in the United States and how ITV was not too unsimilar too not too many moons ago.

Two broadcasting legends gone in the space of 48 hours, first Sir David Frost and now David Jacobs. I suspect he must have known that the end was near when he did his final show last month.

I noticed on the South Bank near the Royal Festival Hall there were a number of old benches with a plaque with the BBC Four logo and that Everyone Needs a Place To Think slogan they used at launch.
