US Open tennis on Eurosport

I have also discovered tonight that the Amazon app no longer works too and the support email address on the Amazon store bounces back as nonexistent.

Not sure how long this has been the case as I only subscribed for the AO previously so probably not used it since February.

US Open kicks off at 16:00 BST but not seeing the extra live court streams on Eurosport Player yet...

Eurosport have updated the Sky EPG and website listings to show which matches they intend to show, which I'm please to see starts with British interest in Edmund v Gasquet. When I looked last night Sky EPG showed Djokovic v Janowicz on Eurosport 1 at midnight but Konta v Mattek-Sands at the same time on Europsort 1 HD (must be an error as that match is expected earlier) - didn't realise they could do different EPG entries for the HD channel.

The guys who create the US Open court feeds have some very funny vt images based on cult characters like the one yesterday had an image of Austin Powers

EPG seems fixed, they've split up the continuous coverage into individual matches and put the players in the titles.

Love the special NY-themed break bumpers, with the umpire calling "time".

Not a very good start. The promised 12 extra courts are missing from Eurosport Player (in the UK at least) and the commentary is ahead of the action (we had this problem at the Australian Open I think too).

Just for those who don't have the extra coverage on the player, the technical team are resolving the issue according to a post on the Eurosport UK Twitter account.

Eurosport 2 straight into the action at 18:05.

Game Set and Mats now on Eurosport 2, it doesn't seem to have a fixed point in the schedule anymore, looks like they are doing it on a more ad hoc basis between matches instead of at the end of the day (probably a scheduling decision as it would otherwise be in the middle of the night).

Will be interesting to see what their new show Wake Up Call looks like in the morning.

An aside .... Gael Monfils couldn't stop and collided with the courtside equipment.
Good to see some of the connections held despite the frame collapsing .....
