BBC1 'Tea Breaks across the UK' was shown again in Yorkshire before the 10pm news? So it can't be a continuous mistake by Yorkshire? Maybe they're trialling it and seeing what comments it generates here on TV Forum? Or they've wiped the tapes of Bog Snorkellers and Sea Swimmers in up North and this ident is the only one they have to use?

It's not unheard of for regions to decide to do their own symbols.

Back in 2001 a couple of regions created their own 'balloon' idents for use before regional programming. They weren't official, and didn't last long.

If a region has had a bout of creativity then good on them, even if not the most well executed of ideas.

If this has come from BBC Creative surely they can do better than that.

Interestingly (or not) the ‘tea breaks across the UK’ text was missing from the Channel Islands variant - the islands not being part of the UK. I’m not sure whether to be impressed at this attention to detail, or depressed that they’ve rather missed the bigger picture that Oneness is atrocious.

Now that one is pretty good - a bit of thought in it with the ball being passed from video to video.
Jeffmister, Custard56 and Cavan gave kudos

That one works well with the ball being passed from person to person, the black just seems weird, however I’m unsure how else they could do it to make it look better but keep the movement of the ball. Any ideas?
