Poor Anna - twice in two days, they lost the link to Australia and then when she read the announcement for the next story, it didn;t appear and then we got her shouting at the video screen to someone called 'Rory' and then we missed half of his report. Poor thing.
I seem to be seeing more errors on the One bulletin - have the usual production gone on holiday or something??
BTW - i didn';t llike Anna's HUGE green ring, the earrings weren;t too bad though

Yes, saw that! What has happened was that she read the jobs story and then, I presume, should have read the Marconi story as the sidebar picture faded into that afterwards. Rory Cellan Jones at the Conference centre doing the live must have been bemused as they cut to him without having his introduction read.
She read it at the end of the main piece before questioning him and apologising for missing it out.
Anna has never really settled into the One - she has problems knowing which camera, etc. But she's a really good newscaster and interviewer - the bulletin is the most live one done with interviews with non-BBC staff who they can't shout at to shut up so this may be one of the reasons!
And, yes - the ring was awful!! Not to keen on the rest of her outfit. Now, I did like Sian's on the Six!

billy, often if you were to blink you would miss them, some are a bit major, but with Anna, even if something goes wrong, she still carries on, and you hardly notice anything has happened. the most annoyed i have ever seen her was at the beginning of this week when she got confused when she didn;t know which camera was on her - mainly because the coming up sting VT didn't play and they lost one of the live links during her spiel about 'Still to come on the programme' (if that all makes sense )

That wasn't nasty. I don't watch it and I don't see them so I wondered if it was the same with him.
I can see the misunderstanding though - you thought I was saying they were glaring errors when I was actually asking if he watches because I don't and I don't see them!
