The One Show from NBH

The Last show from White City was on the 11th July 2013 without a mention on-screen.
I couldn't find an up to date thread about this. so I thought I would start a new one

When will it be back on-air?

5th August, according to the endcap:



(Reminds me of when Live & Kicking used to say 'Back in the Autumn' on their endcap!)

So is BBC London moving into Studio F in the Autumn or around the same time as The One Show

I don't think the last show from White City has happened yet. When I was at NBH last week the new studio didn't look ready to me and they guy said something about in the Autumn not August.

London aren't moving to F, they're moving to D. I suspect that had D been ready before the One Show needed their old studio, they wouldn't have decamped to A.

He's already been told it's not happening in August!

I'd like to know where he's got the idea it's moving next month.

I think the decamp had more to do with planning permission than the arrival of the One Show. They already had two extensions of the temporary use of the space as a studio, the last one of which ran out at the beginning of June. As A was up and running and available it's going to be easier to use that than make another temporary planning application for the month or so until the One Show changes needed to start.

A separate planning application was made for the permanent conversion of the space to a studio, with alterations to the courtyard outside.
