having found myself watching (without consciously planning to) both the episodes of one life which have aired, i have to say what a promising series it is.
initially, having seen the trailer i thought it was another wishy washy half hour of tat. ok - it's human interest (dumbing down maybe, when lined up against panorama of horizon) - but i think the format really works, the titles are very nice and i suppose the stories shown so far have been pretty strong too.
anyway - the reason for this thread - could anyone confirm for me whether this is a strand for documentaries produced by different teams rather than produced centrally? the first episode was credited as "BBC" where as the 2nd had "BBC Birmingham"
