The BBC are bringing back Adrian and Nadia with The One Show. Media Guardian initially said it would be anchored from Birmingham - as the series was - but have now corrected this and say it will be coming from London, with some shows on-the-road.

the shake of cutting custs?

the one show was good so I'm glad it coming back, as long as they don't dart back to the local news then back to the national news at 20 past seven. That was really annoying

As we're into cashing in on older TV brands these days, why don't they just call it Nationwide?

I thought we'd had it with the BBC's unoriginal The xxxxxx Show programme names.

And maybe now with more than one story from NI.

What an absolute cop-out to take this show back to London as its main base. I liked the fact that it was a live prime-time programme from somewhere other than London, it had potential to give it more character over time.

So did I, but I'm not surprised whatsoever about the move.

Will it be a BBC Birmingham production - just using a London studio like Points of View, or a BBC News production?

It was a load of inconsequential crap dumbed down for 10 year olds.

Not that much different to the Six or BBC local news programmes, then.

I would not be suprised if it used the same studio as Working Lunch, Newsround and Newsnight, it does not take long to set up the studio so there is plenty of time to prepare for Newsnight, and clear the studio after Newsround.

Perhaps then they could still have a view of Birmingham (or any other regional location!) as a background and pretend its not from London Laughing

I thought that Nadia was being dropped, and Adrian Chiles would be presenting solo? Was that just a rumour, or did they change their minds?

It is a shame its being moved to London, nice to have a programme presented from elsewhere. Birmingham seemed more apt, being nearer the "centre" of the country, bearing in mind the programme is country-wide and had a more regional feel to it.
