I want to know how many people have phoned 666 ''hello you building is on fire''

Well, nobody can outside a BBC building so I would guess the figure stands at no more than 0.000000000.

That is an internal number. I believe outside of the BBC it would only connect you to an upside down police officer.

Let's go Nationwide!

Here is BBC One England/network going in to panic mode...

Here is BBC One Scotland doing slightly better but using that horrible ident music and crashing in to the filler programme...

Here is BBC One Wales coming out of the filler programme but accidentally leaving network on air and speaking over that rather then their own local output...

BBC One Wales viewers will be miffed when they find out that Rip Off Britain isn't actually on next. I'm sure all will be forgiven when they see this though...

Lovely.

I'm actually series linking that Rolf on Welsh Art programme, as it looks infinitely better than Rip Off Britain.

Yes, that ident was a nice touch too.

Why did the CA insist on referring to 'fault'? Why couldn't they be honest, reference the fire alarm and explain that a replacement is on the way?

I've got to ask, how did you manage to record and post up 3 versions of that?

Look carefully. I didn't. It's an illusion.

Please address all complaints to Metropol.

Let's see if this version is any better?

It's a wonder they don't use a BBC One HD-style background & soundtrack for the breakdown sequence.

Might be interesting to see what turns up here as and when:

Every time the One Show gets cut short for whatever reason, it takes forever and a day to turn up on the iPlayer than it would if it were an episode of the normal length.

Incidently I'm surprised that the BBC haven't packaged up some One Show reports as standbys/fillers. They're a good length, mostly timeless and non-offensive

I think most One Show reports are only copyright cleared (stills, archive, Equity, MU etc.) for a single UK broadcast - and a large chunk of them are made by independent production companies rather than the BBC.

There's also the issue that they films are not made to be broadcast stand-alone - there is usually a studio intro to them - though you could probably re-edit them to make sense standalone.
