I think that probably is a record, though when Stuart Murphy first took over BBC CHOICE he decreed that his target audience had a very short attention span and so commissioned a number of 15 minute programmes and billed it as "Micro TV". The only ones I can think of at the moment are Shaker Maker, which has found a new home on UKTV Food, and Great Speeches, notable for it's enormous burnt-into-programme-tape DOG.
Often the same programmes would go out twice within 90 minutes.

One expression for me sums it all up:
ITV have really wound me up so far this week!

Noone complains about Sky Movies showing the same films more than once in the same night. Agreed, it's unusual for ITV2 to do this, but hey, they're not the only ones who do it and I'm sure if it hadn't been on an ITV channel, it wouldn't have even been brought up.

They did exactly the same thing last Tuesday with Beverly Hills Cop. Film, Harry Hill, then the same film again.
Just before Harry Hill on ITV2 last night, they had a long trailer for the 11:50 showing straight after the first showing had finished.

It could be then that they've got rights to show certain films a select number of times, but have to show them by a certain date so therefore, they could just be using up the airings they're allowed to get value for money!

They did this on ITV3 on Sunday night, there was some film on at 9.00pm, which went on until 11.40pm, it then took a break for The Jasper Carrott Show, then the film was back on at 12.15am, but rather oddly there was no continuity whatsoever in between the film.

And Charles Allen's appearance on ITV News this evening...basically PROVING its all about a business venture STUFF THE VIEWERS.
"we plan to do more late night quiz shows as they prove popular" - and the only thing that will be popular, the more this carries on.

One of the headlines on today's London Evening Standard was "Millions turn off ITV1". This is the only article online I can see that relates to this.
