Jon Snow was never going to criticise London 2012 was he? He is after all, going to be one of the main presenters for Channel 4's Paralympic coverage! Wink

You reckon? He's hardly known for toeing the party line is he? He's the only TV presenter who dares not to wear a poppy every November.

But when it comes to issues around C4 he is very mute. Where was his outcry when Dispatches had its running length cut in half to make way for cookery shows.
I seem to remember him being very opinionated when Panorama was cut from 45mins to 30 when it moved to its current slot. Rolling Eyes

I think he was being genuine in that video and there is a difference between remaining quiet and telling an out and out lie.

His interview with a tedious author who was complaining about the "faux-nationalism being like Nazi Germany" was rather telling. He appeared to find him utterly tedious and miserable for the sake of it.

I think just because Jon Snow is a blatant leftie doesn't mean he is a misery guts.

Apparently towards the end of last week, the inhabitants of the fishtank were holding up signs saying "help! we are being held here against our will!" and "photos £5"

Bit late on this one, but thought folks here might be interested in France Televisions' mobile TV studio:

(a world first, apparently)

With an illegal number plate to boot?

Might be a silly question, but is it a French one?

Isn't it just an old UK one?

Anyway, why does that article, and the rest of the site, use the pre-award London 2012 logo?

Elsewhere there's lots of information on the BBC's facilities, including a diagram of all their unilateral feeds.

How can this be a 'world first'?

BBC News broadcast some of their national bulletins from a converted double decker bus during the 2005 General Election campaign.
