I was watching on there too, switched off BBC 1 as soon as the pointless VT started.
The feed on BBC Olympics 1 was the same, so I don't think they did anything special for BBC One apart from the Ennis montage and the studio bits obviously.

There seems to have been as many issues with the OBS graphics as the BBC have with audio problems - both of which seem to have been unusually high for an Olympics.
Anyhow, brilliant night of sport and one badly timed VT aside brilliant coverage from the BBC. I think anyone thinking Bradley Wiggins would win Sports Personality of the Year can dismiss that thought now - can't really see beyond Mo Farah now, especially if he does the double.

Think they are in English only - don't think there are multiple feeds of each event with different graphics. There may be alternative graphics sets for use online that have different languages - but the OBS feeds are English.
OBS operate the International feed that operates with English graphics but they do alternative feeds in Arabic & Oriental languages for Eastern & Middle East audiences but this is only available to selected broadcasters (e.g Korean Broadcasting System - KBS and CCTV/CNTV China and a few more)
I'm not sure how the agreements are made with these broadcasters but OBS are told to operate the graphics as agreed with broadcasters via IOC Rights holding contracts.
Presumably those feeds are made available within the IBC but not further afield?
Yep, all feeds are watchable in the IBC and via the internal broadcast network.
In reality any broadcaster that wants to pay for the individual feed of a particular camera or graphics can do so and overlay them over their feed or the clean clean feed from OBS.
The BBC have paid for the graphic overlay and field of play spot camera positions, I think they are trying to edit in their cameras with the OBS feed in a messy way.
Are all the graphics in English only or do they offer them in other languages too?

Have the BBC got a graphics feed at the stadium? The footage of the final heats of the heptathlon had a very strong GB focus, and there were a couple of dodgy cuts between shots, looking like the BBC were putting their own shots in, but the clock stayed on throughout...

What are you talking about he's done the double???
Oh, are you not including beating The Cube?
I still think Wiggins will beat him though.
Mo Farah now, especially if he does the double.

As usual, what the hell are you talking about...dismiss that thought? Forget his Olympic gold, do you realise how huge winning the Tour de France is?

You'd be silly write off Andy Murray as well, he could win two Olympics golds, he's reached a Wimbledon final, won many hearts in the process, he's got a potential strong Scottish vote and unlike athletics and cycling he won't have a possibility of a split vote.

It's a massive achievement, but one that 3m watched on ITV1, not 10-15m on BBC1, and certainly not one that creates the buzz we're seeing tonight. I don't want to dismiss it but I would suggest the Tour de France victory was a big moment in cycling, but what we saw tonight especially was a big moment in sport.
Any other year he would absolute walk SPOTY and he'll be up there this time, but I think he'll struggle to beat the like of Jess Ennis and Mo Farah who will probably be pushed more by the BBC.
Also look at last years winner Mark Cavendish - he matched, if not exceeded, his achievements in the Tour this year but as things stand he'll probably struggle to make the top ten this year, never mind win it.

Are all the graphics in English only or do they offer them in other languages too?

What are you all talking about? It has to be Jessica Ennis. As she showed today she achieved excellence in 7 different sports. To me that's the ultimate sports personality.
