That's not the point though, it's not a ceremony people are really going to watch back in years to come. It's a ceremony which is happening now in the present time, so should represent things of now as well as the great history of music.

Even so, I still don't think One Direction will leave a creative legacy like the other artists.

Of course they won't but as I said that's not the point. They're a very hot property at the moment the world associates with Britain. It doesn't matter that they might not be remembered fondly in say 10 or 20 years, as the rest of the world will not see more than a 30 second clip of it in 20 or 30 years.

The singer from Rio had a really old Sennheiser microphone, not seen one of those on a UK production this century as far as I can recall.

So I wonder if it was fake, or they brought their own equipment?

So where is robbie? If the spice girls can do it I think Take that should have managed it.

Also were only 30mins late, in the running time.
